Over a number of years we have had the opportunity to advise clients of useful software, apps and websites that we feel would be of benefit to them. Sometimes through our regular mailshots, sometimes at regular networking events, and when undertaking account reviews. It’s always been a pleasure to get to know how our clients work, the problems and successes they have. – so we can try to identify processes and solutions that will work for them.
Looking back over some of these mailshots, and discussions. – we thought it might be valuable to review some of the options and services that either we use ourselves, or we have advised clients to take advantage of.
Here are a select few.
Hunter.io
Hunter.io is a service that allows you to find email addresses for people. You simply enter the domain of the company your know the person works for i.e. IT-Positive.co.uk, click the search box, and any email addresses that are in the public domain will be listed for you. What’s also useful is that it will advise you of the common style identified for that domain, i.e. firstname.surname@domain. Which will allow you to make an educated guess of an email address if you know the individuals name.
