IT Support Packages

We have a range of support options for business clients, whether it’s a simple pay-as-you-go, to a full support package, payable on a monthly basis.

Full Service Contract

Our full-service contract is priced per Desktop, Workstation, or Laptop, and covers the following:

  • Unlimited remote, onsite & off-site support
  • Call-out charges waived
  • Monitored Anti-virus software
  • Online backup for laptops and workstations*
  • Patch management
  • Priority over our PAYG clients
  • Monitoring of all machines on our portal

The real benefit of this level of support is that we are proactive in our efforts to ensure that your machines run smoothly and without any downtime. Naturally 100% uptime cannot be guaranteed, but it is in our best interests to ensure that our engineers do not have to visit site to fix problems, so all machines are monitored on our portal, and most issues resolved without the client even being aware of a problem.

In addition to the above charges, where a server is not present or covered by a support contract, we charge an Environment Charge, to cover the additional support requirements of routers, switches, NAS’, printer and scanner connectivity issues, and the likes. Our environment charge is based on the number of routers, Firewalls, Printers, NAS’, Managed Switch’s or Wi-Fi Controller’s. Not all devices need to be covered, therefore we would be happy to discuss your individual requirements.

 

Advantages

  • Allows greater amount of budgeting
  • Price includes anti-virus software, payable monthly, and therefore clients spread the cost of this purchase
  • Remote support software allows us to be able to remotely support your computers (assuming an internet connection)
  • Includes all call-out and on-site hourly charges
  • Provides proactive and preventative maintenance of client’s computers

Remote only contract

Our remote only contract is priced per Desktop, Workstation, or Laptop and covers the following:

  • Unlimited remote support
  • Monitored Anti-virus software
  • Online backup for laptops and workstations
  • Patch management
  • Priority over our PAYG clients
  • Monitoring of all machines on our portal

  • Remote support software allows us to be able to remotely support your computers (assuming an internet connection)
  • 10% reduction in call-out and on-site hourly charges
Disadvantages
  • Unable to budget for on-site labour and call-charges
  • Do not take priority over full support contract clients, and therefore during busy periods, you would be second in the queue.

Retained Contract

A Retained Contract, rather than a full support contract, gives priority over our PAYG clients, but without the list of benefits as above, offered to full support contract clients.

As any Retained Contract requires our remote access software installed, we INCLUDE as part of our retained contract, our anti-virus software, our patch management service (allowing us to ensure the correct windows and other updates are installed correctly) and online backups**.

A retained contract would be priced per Desktop, Workstation, or Laptop, and features and benefits include:

  • 10% reduction in call-out charges
  • 10% reduction in hourly labour charges
  • Priority over our PAYG clients
  • Monitored Anti-virus software
  • Online backup software**
  • Patch Management Service

  • Take priority over Paye As You Go clients
  • Allows budgeting of monthly costs
  • Price includes anti-virus software, payable monthly, and therefore clients spread the cost of this purchase
  • Remote support software allows us to be able to remotely support your computers (assuming an internet connection)
  • 10% reduction in call-out and hourly charges
Disadvantages
  • Unable to budget for all labour and call-charges
  • Do not take priority over support contract clients, and therefore during busy periods, you would be lower in the queue.

Pay As You Go

Many clients are happy to take advantage of our standard pay-as-you-go rates, based on location.

Please feel free to contact us to obtain our charges for call-out’s and labour.

We are also able to offer prepayment plans, where blocks of hours of labour are purchased in advance, at a discount, as follows:

10 hours in advance – 10% discount
25 hours in advance – 15% discount
50 hours in advance – 20% discount

 

Advantages
  • Often perceived as cheaper, although most of our long-term clients tend to switch to ongoing support contracts after a period of time to allow budgeting, and so that there is no reluctance to call regarding less important issues
Disadvantages
  • More difficult to budget
  • Do not take priority over support contract clients, and therefore during busy periods, you would be lower in the queue.

* Only includes user files, does not include system files or program
** Online backup excludes servers and any Network Attached Storage
